Alternative Forms of Fundraising

About the event

Fundraising is hard. Many fundraisers feel tired, unsure of where to turn, and even burned out, seeking repeated donations from the same individuals and groups again and again. Many donors give but many others are hesitant to give and earn the "target on their back" that often comes with it. Some give anonymously but only have so much to give. It feels like a never-ending, uphill climb, while needs and demands continue to rise.

Speaker Founder and CEO of Certainty Management, a profit consulting firm that also helps raise zero-cost funding for nonprofits, Patrick Laing has 38 years of business experience. A former Dale Carnegie instructor, he’s led nationally ranked sales teams and managed multiple multi-million-dollar projects. Just one example: Patrick helped increase LeafGuard NW’s annual sales from $3.5MM to $20MM in just 3 years, becoming #1 in the country out of 65 offices. A graduate of Brigham Young and a U.S. Army veteran, Patrick worked in counter-intelligence and held a Top-Secret security clearance for several years. He is the headliner host of the weekly VoiceAmerica Business talk radio show, Finding Certainty, a speaker, coach, and 3 x author/contributor (his last two books were international best sellers). Happily married to Tessha Laing, they live in Henderson, Nevada, and are dad and mom to five children (18 to 26). Patrick’s proudest achievements, besides that of husband and dad, are the unlimited zero-cost funding his “Profit with Purpose” company provides nonprofits and his work helping students graduate 100% debt-free (and former students gain forgiveness for their student loans).
